meet Rachel

I was born and raised in lower Michigan and graduated from Western Michigan University, majoring in biology and minoring in chemistry. I know, odd degree for a wedding planner! While in college, I spent my work days and nights in the service and hospitality industries being involved with many events. Though my heart still holds science dear, it has made room for my ever growing love of orchestrating memorable events. My scientific/type-A personality lets me organize and plan every detail with ease and the passion I have for adventure and nature brings out the fun creative side!

After meeting my husband (the DoCo native) and moving to Door County, I knew this was the place for me! So of course we had to have our wedding here! The peninsula has something for everyone and the beauty is indescribable. I live in Ellison Bay with my husband, our two dogs, two cats and our family's newest addition, our daughter, little Miss Riley.

01 family

Family is so important and making time for them is a must. This is why we take on a limited number of large weddings per year. This allows family time while also giving our couples the attention they deserve.

03 hiking/the outdoors

Hiking around Door County with our pups has always made our hearts happy. Getting to share that with Riley is priceless.

04 travel

While travel has been put on hold lately due to that year that should not be named and growing our family, we can't wait to start showing Riley the world!
