Erica & Michael 6/30/18

Erica and Michael's wedding was a day to remember.  I could not have asked for a better couple to be my first official bride and groom as a wedding planner.  Erica is one of the most kind hearted people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and the entire family was a blessing.

Ceremony and reception were both held at the historic Maxwelton Braes Lodge in Baileys Harbor, WI.  Erica looked stunning making her entrance from the stone lodge door and down the aisle where Michael waited under a grove of maple and chestnut trees.  This beautiful scene was all brought together with gorgeous bright and bold floral arrangements by Blossoms Flower House of Sister Bay.

Once the ceremony came to an end, guests made their way onto the patio for cocktail hour.  Dinner was then served upstairs by Thyme Catering in the newly remodeled banquet hall.  This DIY bride made all the vases for her floral centerpieces, escort cards and some crazy cute antique windowpanes with pictures of the bride and groom.

They had their first dance outside under the string lights on the lodge's patio.  Drinks were served from Pink Door Events Pallet Bar and donuts were provided by Seaquist Orchards for dessert.  The evening concluded as the newly weds made their grand exit driving off in Poppi's (Erica's grandfather) vintage car.
