You know you’ve found “The One” when you miss her after your event is over… yes I’m referring to our wedding planner!
We could rave about Rachel all day long. We came across Pink Door Events while seeking a microwedding package for our nuptials. The “Champagne and Cake Initiative” caught our eye and we began to envision our big day on a smaller scale, given that both of us were nurses in the midst of the pandemic. This package was affordable but also offered every option we could want.
We had an accelerated timeline given that we decided to start planning an August 2021 wedding in February of the same year. Yet somehow, nothing felt rushed or pressured, just fun and exciting.
Rachel made us feel like we were her only clients from the minute we hired her to the end of our wedding, which speaks to her commitment to her couples.
She embodies professionalism, yet all of our meetings felt like we were talking to a friend. Her proactive communication and swift response times were unmatched.
It’s clear that Rachel knows Door County like the back of her hand. She offered us many excellent local venue options and didn’t skip a beat when we decided to book an Airbnb rental instead, which she was instrumental in procuring.
She has fostered strong business relationships with many of the best vendors in the industry.
Rachel’s vision of our big day and the execution were truly “Pinterest-worthy”. She helped me visualize how what I had dreamed up would look and also offered ideas and had beautiful rentals available that I didn’t even know I wanted.
Her day-of coordinating skills are second to none. Her ability to take charge balanced with her cool demeanor truly allowed us to relax and enjoy our day to the fullest and we are grateful for her!

When I originally got engaged my mother and I thought we could handle the planning. Boy were we wrong. After 2 days of fighting my father had my mother find a wedding planner and Rachel was truly a gift. My now husband and I live in Colorado and had no idea where to start for a wedding in Door County. Rachel was insanely helpful and made it so easy to plan for our beautiful day. I am so terrible at planning parties let alone my own wedding and I love that I trusted Rachel and my Mother to run away with the planning. The day was completely stress free. Rachel ensured every one was on time and going smooth, she did not forget any details and always had our interests at heart. Matt and I were able to soak up all the moments of the day. “ They say planning a wedding is stressful, but thanks to Rachel, I had so much FUN planning our wedding. We decided to hire Rachel soon after getting engaged, so we worked with her for about 2 years. Rachel had a little baby girl one month prior to our wedding day and she was still present for my whole wedding weekend and made the weekend unforgettable.
We also rented her caravan bar for our rehearsal dinner Friday night and we received SO many compliments from our guests about it.

Rachel is amazing! From the consultation to the actual wedding day, she did everything possible for our wedding to be perfect. She has an amazing taste, and we were able to create an amazing look for the venue. I had a vision of what I wanted and she 1000% got it! The day of the wedding she was on top of everything. If there were any issues, she took care of them. Everything went so smoothly; the timeline was point and we were even ahead of the timeline which was great for our wedding.
